This morning we met with a builder to discuss the possibility of employing him to build us a shell house, then picked up the kids at my mom’s. At one o’clock we met Greg’s dad, Richard, and stepmother, Sheila, at City Market in downtown Luling for barbecue. I ate brisket and sausage—no potato salad, no bread, just meat and good City Market sauce. It was a very low-carb lunch. I felt very greasy and satisfied afterwards.
Richard and Sheila will stay the night in the girls’ room; the girls will sleep on an air mattress in the living room.
