Moving Day for the Kitties, Part 2

The kitchen is actually in pretty good shape now, and I find that there is little left to do.  The dishwasher has been removed and its cavity cleaned, so Greg made me some shelves to fit the space, using wood salvaged from an old fence.  My mom, who lives in New Braunfels, came over after work, bringing dinner with her from Bill Miller’s Barbecue.  She was very interested in all our plans and had good suggestions to make about the house plan I’ve been sketching on graph paper.  It is so good to be with people who have a positive outlook, who approach challenges with energy and enthusiasm rather than gloom and fear.  We spent a pleasant evening together.

Sandy moved her kittens back to the truck.  This time Greg let them stay.
